004.5: Surprise Altars, Common Sense Magic, Instant Magick, and Uncle Seth

Shows April 20th, 2006

It’s another off-week variety show, and this one has a bit more than usual. Siege gives us an essay called “Surprise Altars,” Michelle reads her “Common Sense Magic,” I have a review of Christopher Penczak’s Instant Magick, and we finish things off with Double-Double by Uncle Seth.

Hey there, this is Jay from the band Uncle Seth! On behalf of the band, I’d like to say a big THANK-YOU for playing “Double-Double” on your show!

FYI, we’ve just launched our own artist podcast, check it out at:

    Hello!

Is there a place I could read the Surprise Altars essay somewhere? I’m not a native english-speaker and I can’t get some part of it clear.

    Thank you.

I just wanted to thankyou for your show
I know nothing at all about vampires-infact I thought it was all fiction
my question is can you outline at least some of your core beliefs so I can understand more about this since I have never heard about it before
and have never played role playing computer games (unless you count the Sims)but as a solitary witch I found your show very interesting and somewhat deeper then some other unnamed podcasts (that I also love)
    so great job
    ps message comes from Australia
