Like the new intro music. Kinda creepy but cool!

  2. Tyra Says:

I would like to hear an episode about the castes of house kheperu.

[...] Shadowdance 029: Vampires - Best part of the episode is when Michelle describes the medical symptoms that can go along with a psychic vampire… and realizing she could be talking about my fundy mother. Lots of LOLs from me at that point. [...]

At about 50 minutes into this podcast, I hear Michelle talking about how vampires are more focused on people rather than nature. So I’m curious as to what is thought about elemental vampires who primarily feed on the elements? I’ve been told by others in the community that people who feed on elemental energy are more like fairies than vampires. Thoughts?

To protect electronics, you might consider sliding a piece of foil in a cellphone holster or within an outer casing of the cellphone. This creates a Faraday Cage that (maybe?) isolates the phone from your energy? Just a thought…

By the way, I just want to say that multiple years running now for Shadowdance, and I still always enjoy the interesting mix that Michelle, Chris, and the occasional other guests create for these podcasts. This was a great episode, with the classic juicy flavor of fascinating trains of thought. Thanks!

So, what would you say is the difference between the Living Vampires of Eastern Europe and the Living Vampires of the Strigoi Vii/ Sanguinarum? You know, that part of the vampire community that Father Whateverhecallshimselfthesedays founded. I have studied many aspects of Psychic Vampirism and not all vampires in the “community” this podcast talks so highly of fall in to that category nor do I feel they live for their own monetary gain. They acknowledge you. Do you acknowledge them?

Love the “God help us” comment on sparkling vampires. I take it you’re not too keen on Twilight (or “T-whine-light”, as I like to call it). I’m a psy-vamp slowly becoming aware of what I am, and I don’t dare call myself that for fear people get weird notions about what I am, like my skin sparkling in the sunlight. I’d almost rather that people thought I sleep in a coffin! :: Laughs::

Michelle is eloquent as always. I particularly enjoyed the discussion on Shamanism, as I am a student of shamanism as well.

I identify with Jackie as I am also a Medical professional leading a double life day to day.
