Get an Xbox 360 and a copy of Oblivion.
Concievably the most addictive game ever, plus it's massive! Besides the main story quests and faction quests, there's a great deal of places to explore that come along with sidequests(and some that do not), as well as downloadable content. It's a massive game and takes a good deal of time to complete.

Agreed. Oblivion Rocks.

Also, start reading Terry Pratchett's Discworld series. There's around 25ish last time I checked and there's everything from political to social to metaphysical humour and insights in there. Plus He's just an Awesome author.

I've been reading Bernard Cornwell's books, the Nathaniel Starbuck series has a lot about peoples' internal struggles with loyalty, morality, and loyalty. These novels are particularly inspireing for me not just because I like introspective psychology but also because my partner and I are involved in (american) civil war re-enactment (yes - we even do that here in UK).

I actually just finished the Foundation book series, or at least the four books i know of(foundation, foundation and empire, second foundation, foundation's edge) by Isaac Asimov, and man is it a trip. Also, I've just begun reading "Children of Dune".
Obviously, I'm a bit of a science fiction nut, also, just a heads up, I'm in the process of writing a science fiction novel. I've gotten great response from the bits and peices of the first six chapters that i've shown people, so when I eventually get it finished, here's hoping I can get a publisher to get it out there for me. If not I can always fall back on sending several chapters at a time to the Steampunk Gazette.
Also, I'm practically crapping myself waiting for the release of fallout 3 later today. I indend to get the game, bring it home, and spend the next 24 hours making love to super mutants with an old bolt action rifle and the new VaultTec Assisted Targeting System(or V.A.T.S, which allows the player to make critical strikes and shoot off body parts). Mmm.....satisfying.

We have to wait a little longer over here before fallout 3 is released, still a day and a half to go. *has a cry*

Finished The Historian by Elizabeth Kostova the other day (finally). Awesome vampire book, but then I love the long, drawn out stories that go into history as much as storylines. Jonothan Strange and Mr. Norell is also like that but about Magicians, set during one of the world wars I think... It's been a while since I read that one.

I do anything creative: writing, painting, photography...  I go nuts if I don't.

I think I will read The Psychic vampire codex and write on my survival guide to walking between the worlds. At this point I think it is more for me to get things out than to be published. I may do some painting and carving too.

It depends on what is considered free time. I do a lot of community volunteering, and spend a lot of time taking care of things and people at home. What I try to do in my free time is sew, listen to radio or podcasts, talk with people on phone or in person, I really really need to make some art but somehow that keeps being put on the end of the list lately. Somewhere in there I try to get some sleep. For some strange reason, I find myself rather drained when it comes to reading tarot and related stuff between february and April. More likely to have dreams happen and this year I've been trying more to write the dreams I remember down. Naps. Naps are great about this time of year.

I do multiple things everything from trying to develope a game concept to figuring out a way to keep the boredom at bay from living in the Bible belt.

I sat up until 7:30 in the morning recording a bunch of ideas with a few friends relating to a game one wants to build, and I'm formulating ideas in my head for the game I want to make, something of an extremely in depth steampunk RPG, not using any of the existing stat systems but using something more realistic involving training your character.
