Energy signatures

When you see or feel things, do you get different gut awareness of what those things are?
The other day, I had a dream about my son dying; I remember experiencing the realisation of death and at the end of the dream, i heard myself yelling and crying. when i brought myself out of it, i was half-awake, half- asleep. In that state, i felt like i was being watched. It was creepy at first, but then I realized I was feeling the energy of whatever was there. This was not my imagination, there was a denseness to it and in my mind's eye, i could see a thin, black column standing to the right of the chair that I was sitting and napping in. It was a particular feeling of denseness and lightness; it did not feel malevolent or good, it just was. It did not feel human in nature; it was hard to read the energy; i don't think i have ever felt that kind of energy before. Do you think that different entities could have particular energy signatures?

I'm a definite subscriber to the belief that everything in it's own way has something that is unique and identifies it for what it is, either in a general sense (tiger stripes) to down the very core (DNA). While those are very general examples, I see no reason why that wouldn't translate over into the metaphysical.

I read this this morning and thought I would think about it before I responded. I went to the paranormal meetup that I go to and low and behold that is what we started the discussion with. The organizers of the group sell equipment for investigations so they had a frequency counter that we played with. The only things that we did find consistent was that the frequency went vary high when it was placed over a persons head and there was a high, low, high effect as you move it out from the body. It would be high at about an inch then low at about four inches and high again at about twelve. It did not seem to react to the spirits that came around. We have several people there that can see and speak to them so we knew when they were there and the location to go to.
I have always thought that you would be able use a meter like that the find ghosts but this experiment seemed to say otherwise. It may also be that spirits have frequencies that are out of the range of the equipment or the signal strength is too low for it to read.

I think what struck me most when i experienced that before particular event happened,
i would feel a general "sense" of energy; this was the first time it felt like something "particular", but still i felt like even though i got the fact it was not human in nature, i could not tap into its energy, in computer terms, like not having the application to run a program, it was there, but i could not get specifics. Maybe i was not meant to, i don't really know.

Nobody brought up the shadow being thing and I wish I had. I have wondered if the shadow beings are some kind of overlap with another dimension because often they are almost 2 dimensional. Maybe it is like seeing a shadow on a wall but the thing it is being seen on is space in out reality. That could be why you had no feeling other than a sense of being there.

In the same way people tend tend to have a certain air to them, so can different metaphysical beings ‘feel’ different.
I know what you mean though, when you say it was neither good nor bad, just was. That is how most things feel to me.

Hi Yvsaph,
Yeah, I would like to get to a point where I can pick up on what specific energies are; just will take time, i guess.

My view of this.
In my experience with energy signatures... it is kind of like a finger print. The finger itself definitely says it is a human, unlike a paw print.
So part of the energy signature tells what it is. However, a person good at psychometry ( reading energy) can take a magnifying glass and say
'' hey, this person's energy makes me feel like this and I see this in my mind and maybe hear that. Based upon this - the person is very quiet and kind ... because the energy feels soft to me. However I feel inside a sadness welling up which means that the person is suffering from depression. I hear a loud ringing/dissonance and from this I concur that the person was angry.''
In this case it would be identifying the whorls, arches, and such within the finger print pattern in order to identify who the person was.
Except it is energy.
As to what that could be. It is either a manifestation of yourself going and trying to give you a message... particularly a part of yourself that is not embraced by yourself. The other possible explanation that makes the most sense is a kind of bringer of death. Radical transformation but not necessarily the end of life... though it could be the end of life...I am not going to deny the possibility of that.
Typically they have a sexless kind of energy although they manifest as sometimes a male or female for the sake of comfort and to help you better calm down...they also are very very cold in terms of emotion ( if you brought death....all kinds of radical change... I'd personally want to be numb ). They are there to both initiate the change and if you get on their good side they'll help you with it. Also very impersonal.

Zagreus,
Liked your post; reading through it again and again. The part you mentioned about a "bringer of death" whether its change or death, that was appreciated. Liked the link between fingerprints and energy, that is easy to remember. kt
